A website and company created by two mothers who are fighting for a cure to T1D. The only way we know how to fight this disease is to raise money that will be donated to JDRF for research. Please support our fight for our children!
Each Medallion represents a shot given to Madeline. Madeline is on an insulin pump and the Medallions are the unused protective covers that come in each site package. She has her site changed/injected every three days. Trenton receives his insulin by syringe and receives at least four shots a day. So each Medallion represents 12 shots for Trenton!
Madeline's Medallions make a perfect gift for Birthdays and Holidays (stocking stuffers, Easter baskets, Valentine's Day!...) The Medallions are also sold seperately so all of the Medallions can go on one necklace. Collect them all!
Traci Scott and Meghan Mullen have been neighbors and friends since 2004. They were brought closer together in 2008 when Traci's son Trenton(3)was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes. Meghan babysat for Trenton, and her family was one of the first to join Trenton's JDRF Walk For A Cure team that year. Against the odds, 6 months later, Meghan's daughter Madeline(5) was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes too. Meghan and Traci now have joined forces aginst Type 1 Diabetes and created a new JDRF team called Team scottmullen, The Briggs Street Cruisers.
